This acquisition consolidates COA Solutions' position as one of the leading UK-based human capital management (HCM) solution providers.
The acquisition of ASR, the company's ninth in the past five years, supports COA Solutions' strategy of delivering market-leading human resource software to UK service industry organisations. This deal, in conjunction with COA Solutions' previous acquisitions of HR and payroll specialists OpenPeople, Goldenhill and Strata, elevates the company to one of the leaders in the UK HCM market, which is worth an estimated £240 million.
ASR has 400 customers within both the private and public sectors and its solutions cover the complete spectrum of HR requirements including personnel, training, recruitment, succession planning, self-service and workflow. This software portfolio will add considerable breadth to COA Solutions' Smart Business Suite, which comprises finance, human resource, payroll, procurement, business intelligence and document management solutions.

ASR will remain at its Harpenden office and will continue to operate as a separate business, supporting existing customers and partners. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
